Welcome back everyone! Here are some pictures from today’s spooktacular activities, which included writing instructions for a monstrous sandwich, menacing mathematics and even some challenges in our house groups, including “pin the teeth on Dracula,” making a mummy fit for the catwalk and spooky snap.
Thank you to everybody he who made a special effort with costumes and make-up. A great start to the Autumn Two term.
Here are a few images from our Indian Day as well as a selection of examples of the children’s brilliant project work. A special thank you must go out to all the children and their parents who took the time to find all of the wonderful Indian outfits that were worn today.
Well done Year Four. Have a happy and healthy half term. See you safe and well on Tuesday 31st October for a Halloween Spooktacular!
Here are today’s performances of some of the children’s own magic box poem. Well done to all the children for their contributions.
Year 3 have had a super smoothie making day. After tasting and deciding on their flavours earlier in the week, today the children were able to finally create their superhero beverage. Washing the fruit, cutting up strawberries, pouring in juice, adding the ice cream and blending altogether. They all enjoyed tasting their smoothies, with many saying they would make more at home! The children have worked hard on evaluating their final smoothie and creating posters and packaging, with class 2 even devising a class poem!
